I plan on submitting work to the Fort Rouge United Church's annual Art Exhibition, this year developed around the theme - "Intersections". As a Canadian artist, who immigrated to this country 9 years ago, I have experienced the convergence of cultures, lifestyles and identities.

What do you see? 
When I was painting this #propheticart painting, the word that kept coming up was exodus. Here's how the Merriam-Webster dictionary defines it in simple terms: 
"a situation in which many people leave a place at the same time." 
The origin of the word is a Latin word exodos, which means "literally, road out." Synonyms include: outflow, gush, outpour, outpouring.
